Bansko and Dobrinishte
Bansko is small ski resort town in the southern Bulgaria, on the northern slopes of the Pirin mountains. Less than 10 thousand people live there year round. But it becomes absolutely packed January through March, at the height of ski season.
As in the most ski resorts, there are still plenty of things to do in Summer. Walking the trail to the top of peak Vihren is just only one of them.
Dobrinishte
Just about six kilometers away from Bansko lies a small town Dobrinishte. You can get there on a narrow-gauge train from Bansko or by feet. The town is known for its mineral baths and have a picturesque waterfall nearby.
