Tsarevo, Ahtopol, Sinemorets

Tsarevo is the first and the largest town in the Strandzha region, the most southeastern corner of Bulgaria. Although, “largest” is a little bit too big of a word for a place with less than seven thousand permanent inhabitants it is still a regional center with plenty of stuff to do and see, both by the sea and further into the mainland. Several nice and easy hiking trails into the rolling hills of Strandzha mountain start there.
